Root protection is a major concern for all gardeners: in soil where access to roots is difficult, and in hydroponics where access to the root zone is easy but roots are relatively exposed to pathogens. And given how much effort we've put into building a healthy root mass, it makes sense to protect that investment: Pythium, Fusarium, Verticillium and other fungal and bacterial pathogens can wreak havoc in hydroponic systems, especially in warm weather, where fungi More common as an airborne pathogen, problems can develop overnight.

There are several 'solutions' on the market, from UV sterilization to commercial fungicides from the garden center, but they all have drawbacks, from cost, complexity and questionable results, to fungicide toxicity and health hazards.

Fortunately, there is a very effective solution without such risks: Trikologic S.

To provide the most effective protection possible, we tested all the strains currently used as "beneficial" and isolated the most effective and fastest-acting combination (too many strains and there is a battle to become established and provide protection: there is no point in growing crops quickly).

Trikologic S's balanced blend of beneficial microorganisms goes to work right away, protecting the entire root mass of your plants from pathogenic fungi by forming a protective barrier that inhibits the growth, reproduction and survival of pathogens.
This gives you the most resilient protection against root pathogens available. And thanks to the same high-quality Trichoderma as our Trikologic mix, Trikologic S also breaks down unwanted organic matter waste in nutrient solution, transforming this potential source of disease into a supplement of minerals immediately available to your plants.

How to use:

Trikologic S is a natural, 100% biological protectant and therefore works best as a preventive measure. As with all aerobic microorganisms, the better the oxygen supply and the more stable the pH, temperature and humidity, the healthier and more effective Trikologic S will be.

• As a drench when sowing seeds and as a water/nutrient additive for seedlings, young and mature plants: add 1 g for every 15 to 20 liters of water or nutrient solution every 6 to 8 weeks.
• For mature plants, in soil or coir: add 10 g for every 150 to 200 liters of water or nutrient solution every 6 to 8 weeks; simply add to your water/nutrient system, or water directly onto the substrate.
• In pure hydroponics and bare root bioponics: when plants are young and have small root systems, Trikologic S needs a base to regroup and reproduce: use a commercially available biofilter unit or hang a 3 to 5 liter plastic basket filled with 80% clay granules and 20% coconut under falling water in your aquarium, for example under the return of our AeroFlo systems.
