The Milwaukee MC811 is an affordable and robust pH, EC, and temperature monitor, designed and manufactured in Europe for 24/7 measurement. Thanks to three separate, illuminated displays, you can always see the measured values immediately. Calibration is also very simple and works by adjusting three potentiometers. The MC811 has two calibration points for pH (pH4.01 and pH7.01) and one for EC.

Use and care
The MC811 Max comes with the MA911B/2 electrode. Properly maintaining the electrode ensures long-lasting, fast, and accurate measurements. Every pH sensor has a limited lifespan, and the measurement speed slows down over time.

EC sensors are more robust and have a very long lifespan. However, they can be affected by residue buildup on the sensor. Therefore, below are our most important maintenance tips:

1. Always store the electrode with buffer or storage solution (KCL) in the rubber cap and not with (demineralised) water;
2. Clean the electrode regularly by immersing it in cleaning fluid;
3. Calibrate the electrode after cleaning and/or storing before taking measurements to compensate for deviations in the electrode pH or EC measurement;
4. Stir the electrode gently in the solution to be measured to obtain a faster measurement.
