The Milwaukee MC811 is an affordable and reliable pH, EC and temperature monitor developed and made in Europe to measure 24/7. Thanks to 3 separate and illuminated displays, you always immediately see the measured values. Calibration is also very simple and works by adjusting three potentiometers. The MC811 has two calibration points for pH (pH4.01 and pH7.01) and one for EC.

Use and care
The MC811 Max is supplied including the MA911B/2 electrode. Proper maintenance of the electrode ensures that it measures for a long time, quickly and accurately. Every pH sensor has a limited life and the measurement speed slows down over time.

EC sensors are more robust and last a very long time. However, they can be influenced by the build-up of residue on the sensor. Below, therefore, our most important maintenance tips:

1. Always store the electrode with buffer or storage solution (KCL) in the rubber cap and not with (demineralized) water;
2. Clean the electrode regularly by dipping it in cleaning fluid;
3. Calibrate the electrode after cleaning and/or storage before taking measurements to compensate for deviations in the pH or EC reading of the electrode;
4. Gently stir the electrode into the solution to be measured to get a faster measurement.
