How does the calibration of an EC meter with calibration fluid work?

It is important when calibrating your EC meter that you first switch on the meter and let it warm up. Then carefully clean the electrode with water of distillation and dry gently with a paper towel. After this you put the electrode in the calibration liquid. After about one minute of waiting, the measurement is stable.
