The trap strips are your alarm system that detects harmful insects. All kinds of insects, such as spider mites, whiteflies, fruit flies, flying aphids, leaf miners, and sciarid flies, are attracted by the yellow color of the trap strips and captured by the sticky layer.

Application
Sticky traps provide information about the presence of certain pests. This information is crucial for determining the correct control strategy and timing. Regular checking (once to twice a week) and/or counting of the sticky traps is therefore essential.

In crops that grow very tall, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers, the warning signs should be hung just above the top of the crop. This is where most pests first establish themselves. As the crop grows, the warning signs can be hung higher to follow its growth.

For crops that grow more slowly, the signal plates are best hung 20 to 30 cm above the crop (using the included hanging wires). Replace the signal plates as soon as large numbers of insects are caught on them.

Operation
All sorts of insects, such as spider mites, whiteflies, fruit flies, flying aphids, leaf miners, and sciarid flies, are attracted to the yellow color of the sticky trap and trapped by its adhesive layer. The adhesive is non-toxic, water-repellent, and doesn't dry out in warm climates. The sticky trap also retains its shape regardless of temperature and humidity.
